Hello everybody! I am very excited to begin this blog. For all the people who have read the book, please send any comments, questions, or criticisms you may have. Perhaps I can then use these comments as a starting point for future blog posts.
Over the next few months, I also plan to use the framework I set forth in the book to write about numerous topics of interest and current events, so please check back periodically as time permits.
Thanks!
Dear Dr Amin,
Having read your book “Conflicts of Fitness,” I wish to say I’m impressed. Interested in evolutionay psychology myself, I find your depiction of institutional polygyny in evolutionary terms quite compelling, same as the way you show how long-term reproductive climates can evolve toward short-term climates. I intend to write a note about your writings on my blog. In the mean time, you can see how I dealt with the egalitarian aspect of institutional polygyny here (Comment 1):

To the benefits of institutional polygyny should be added the drawbacks of cryptic polygyny in institutionally monogamous societies:

Best wishes.
Thank you for the kind words, Florent! I look forward to seeing your blog post; I have started to look at your blog and the few posts I have read are very interesting!
